Ingredients ( for 6 person )
⇒ Milkmaid 1 cup
⇒ Oil 1/4 ( or melted butter )
⇒ Vanilla extract 1 tsp
⇒ Warm milk 1/4 cup
⇒ Vinegar 1 tsp
⇒ Maida 190 gm
⇒ Cocoa powder 1 cup
⇒ Baking soda 1/4 tsp
⇒ Baking powder 1/2 tsp
⇒ Salt 1 pinch
⇒ Sugar 2 tbsp ( optional )
Preparing the cooker for baking
➽ Add salt to a pressure cooker and spread it evenly.
➽ Cover the salt with a plate.
➽ Place a ring or hot pot stand over the plate.
➽ Remove the gasket and whistle.
➽ Cover the cooker and being to heat it on a medium heat.
➤ Meanwhile 1 cup milkmaid,1/4 cup oil, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 tsp vinegar in a large mixing bowl.
➤ Now in sieve take 1 cup maida, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp baking powder and pinch of salt. Sieve everything well.
➤ Combine well with cut and fold method adding warm milk if required.
➤ Do not to over mix the cake batter as it turns chewy.
➤ Further, transfer the cake batter into the cake mold.
➤ Then carefully place the cake tray into the cooker.
➤ Closed the lid of cooker without gasket and whistle. simmer for 40 minutes.
➤ Finally serve the egg-less chocolate cake in pressure cooker or store in airtight container.
